A little bit about me…the owner. My name is Nichole but everyone has called me Nickie my entire life. My middle name is Rea (pronounced like Tee, as in golf “tee” but with an R). Hence, the company name, Rea’L

I have somewhat of a hippie spirit – I LOVE my freedom. I am a truth seeker and have always looked for the deeper meaning of well, everything! I have 4 wonderful children who inspire me to do my best so that I can set a good example throughout their lives.

One day, my oldest daughter, Lillian, came to me complaining that her ear was hurting. I knew immediately that I didn’t want to give her Tylenol as that would just cover the problem & would not heal her. (Plus, it’s really bad for people in general.) I started looking into natural remedies. I discovered essential oils, herbs and food as medicine and from there, my thirst for more knowledge on the subject was born. I researched essential oils, herbs, and natural healing methods which led me to making my own bath and body products. I quickly fell in love with everything I was discovering about these products and all of the benefits natural ingredients provide for human skin. I felt truly pampered with every product I was using, like going to a spa daily but in my own HOUSE! I spent a solid 6 months learning about soap, the oils used for soap and lye safety before I tried my first batch. It was a purple and green batch and I still have one bar left from that loaf (although the purple morphed to gray, lol). Once I made that first batch, I didn’t stop for 11 days. Every night, I made a new batch of soap. I had a mountain of soap and started taking it, along with body butters and bath bombs, with me to work to give away. People were enthusiastic and encouraged me to start selling my products. I was a little gun shy and it took me a while to get everything exactly how I wanted it, specifically my soap recipe and my logo. Finally, after having my 4th baby, I decided to dip my toes in the water.

I have not stopped learning and enjoy playing with ingredients to formulate new creations. I hope you will join me on this adventure with feedback and ideas.
